Our Focus Areas

The Barstow Health Foundation is launching with four core focus areas designed to strengthen local health services today while building a healthier future for our community.

1. Local Healthcare Support & Equipment

We collaborate with local healthcare providers to help identify community-benefiting equipment, technology, and resources that improve patient care, safety, and access—not limited to any single facility.

2. Community Wellness Initiatives

We invest in programs focused on prevention, health education, screenings, behavioral health, senior wellbeing, youth wellness, and healthy living. Our goal is to reduce health disparities and improve outcomes for Barstow families.

3. Healthcare Workforce Development

We support scholarships, training programs, and partnerships that strengthen Barstow’s healthcare talent pipeline—including nurses, technicians, behavioral health providers, community health workers, and emergency responders.

4. Community Health Projects & Facilities

We support community-focused health projects, such as wellness spaces, training environments, prevention programs, and resource centers, that expand access to care and benefit the broader region.
